Our commitment
We believe the web works best when everyone can use it. This includes people who rely on keyboard navigation, screen readers, high-contrast themes, and motion-reduction preferences. We build against these needs, not around them.
What we have built against the standard
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) on every page
- Descriptive alt text on images and decorative aria-hidden on ornamental elements
- Keyboard navigation supported across all interactive elements
- Visible focus outlines on interactive elements
- Colour contrast tested against WCAG AA thresholds on body text and primary CTAs
- prefers-reduced-motion honoured by scroll animations and the client logo marquee
- Fonts that scale cleanly with the browser's zoom (100%, 150%, 200%)
- Form inputs with associated labels and aria-invalid on errors
- Heading hierarchy preserved across pages (one H1 per page, logical H2/H3 nesting)
Known gaps
We are honest about what is not yet perfect:
- Some hero sections use full-viewport background images; we have added dark scrims for contrast but individual users with low vision may still find them distracting
- Video content (YouTube embeds) inherits YouTube's accessibility; captions depend on the publisher
- Certain decorative motion effects may flicker briefly on slower devices, though they respect prefers-reduced-motion
- Complex filter UIs (blog search, FAQ topic filter, venue facets) have been keyboard-tested but may benefit from richer ARIA live-region feedback
We treat this list as a working backlog, not a finished disclosure. As we fix items, we remove them from this page.
Feedback and help
If you run into an accessibility issue, email info@curatetheevents.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line. We respond within 7 working days and commit to a resolution plan within 30 days.
If the site itself is the barrier for you, phone us on +91 88070 54844 or WhatsApp +91 88070 54844. A project lead can walk you through a brief and take notes on your behalf.
Audits and updates
The site is audited informally by the team on every major release. We plan to add a formal annual external audit starting 2026. Audit summaries will be posted here.
